Foggy future
It has been slow writing these autumn. I have been posting my second manuscript to several publishers and collected three rejections so far. Would think everyone would jump on the chance for a YA horse story (totally biased horse lover as I am).
I have not written every day, having had to prioritise my time and energy more than ever before in my life. But having an active revision going on, ever so slowly, have helped. I like to feel that I am working on something.
And, as this is my last active manuscript, I finally give myself permission to start daydreaming about the next one. Can hardly wait to sit down and create that first draft. But I am in no hurry. The longer I wait, the more fleshed out the idea gets.
So, at the moment it feels like I am spending more time thinking about writing, then actually typing words. Which seems like the best approach for now. When you are in it for the long run, you might have to walk a little, now and then
