The circle of feedback and editing

Sunday editing

I am at the seventh lengthy review of my manuscript. When I finish it in a couple of weeks (hopefully), I want nothing more than for someone to read it and give their feedback. How else will I know if I am delusional or not?

So I will show it to someone. They will get the joy of recommending improvements that I couldn’t think of myself, and I will get back to work. Hopefully making the manuscript better. And then? Show it to someone again? Edit again? Show it? Edit?

When is it good enough? Not yet, hopefully soon. Maybe never.
